ICC head of global development reacts to Kinrara Oval eviction

The Malaysian Cricket Association's impending eviction from the Kinrara Oval has caught the attention of William Glenwright, Head of Global Development for the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The national cricket association received a notice to vacate the premise by October 31 after it was taken over by a new developer for a redevelopment project.
Unless overturned, it would leave the MCA, who won the top prize at the 2016 ICC Development Programme Awards as they were awarded the Gray-Nicolls Best Overall Development Programme, homeless and put the future of Malaysian cricket in doubt.
In light of that, Glenwright shared his thoughts on the issue on Twitter.
"Concerned to read about the threat to Kinrara cricket facility.
"A magnificent ground that @MalaysiaCricket has invested in heavily to create a regional hub for international cricket.
"The sport and the region needs facilities like this to drive growth," Glenwright tweeted on Friday.
