Welcome to the NBA's newest grudge match/rivalry, Giannis Antetokounmpo versus Ben Simmons.
The 76ers beat the Bucks, 130-125 in Milwaukee on Sunday, but what everyone will be talking about were the two dunks exchanged by Antetokounmpo and Simmons late in the fourth quarter.
After Antetokounmpo backed Simmons under the basket and dunked right over him, he called the 76ers star a "baby," according to multiple reports. Actually, the language was much saltier. He reportedly yelled, “He’s a baby. He’s a f—g baby!"
Simmons answered back seconds later not with a taunt, but with a put-back slam over the "Greek Freak."
Soooo Giannis dunks hard on Ben Simmons, calls him a “baby,” then 10 seconds later Ben comes up with the put-back slam right over Giannis’ head. Sixers win and I’ll take a seven-game playoff series between these two teams please. pic.twitter.com/yHqTxNst3m — Rachel Nichols (@Rachel__Nichols) March 17, 2019
