Trent Bridge will allow free admission for the final day of the third Test as India stand on the brink of victory against England.

Although the tourists require just one wicket to clinch the win and gain a foothold in the five-match series, ticket prices had been announced as £10 for adults and £5 for children.

But an angry response prompted organisers to reconsider, with current ticket-holders now to be refunded, while on-the-gate entry is free. Donations to charity will be collected instead.

"We've slept on the day five pricing policy and, frankly, we got it wrong," said an announcement on Nottinghamshire's Twitter page.
