The Johor Tigris continued their slump in the 2021/22 Emas Anuar Sepak Takraw League (STL) season.

Johor, who memorably won the STL Champions Cup respectively in 2019, lost all their matches at the Titiwangsa Stadium in the third gameweek, falling 18-21, 15-21 to the Kuala Lumpur Thunder and 16-21, 21-18, 16-21 to the Negeri Sembilan Antlers.

The two defeats left the team, with just one league win to show so far, at the bottom of the league table and two points from safety, behind the Selangor Pistons and the Perak Bison.

Joining them in the relegation zone were the Bomba Fighters, who also had four points as Selangor and Perak albeit an inferior point difference.

On the other side of the league table, the ATM Guardians continued to lead all teams with a perfect record of six wins out of six.

Trailing two points behind them were the Penang Black Panthers, whose winning run came to a surprise end against the Putrajaya Cyborg, and defending champions Thunder, who continued their recent revival of form by notching up four straight wins.
