It appears Dwyane Wade and Dirk Nowitzki have put their rivalry behind them.

The retiring superstars and future Hall of Famers swapped jerseys at the conclusion of the Heat's 112-101 win over the Mavericks on Wednesday in Dallas.

Wade, who scored a game-high 22 points, and Nowitzki, who tallied 12 points, shared a laugh before entering the game together with 5:11 remaining in the first quarter.

The two have a history throughout their NBA careers, particularly when they faced off in the NBA Finals in 2006 and 2011. Wade and the Heat won the first showdown in 2006, while Nowitzki and the Mavs topped Miami's Big 3 when the teams met again five years later.

"Like I've said, after '06, we had some frosty times, but I think that's way behind us," Nowitzki told ESPN on Tuesday. "I always say he pushed me to be the player in '11 to ultimately win."

Wade, 37, and Nowitzki, 40, will square off one last time in March before entering retirement.

They'll also play in this weekend's NBA All-Star Game, with Wade representing Team LeBron and Nowitzki suiting up for Team Giannis.
