Oklahoma City Thunder coach Mark Daigneault praised Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's "masterpiece" performance in their victory over the Indiana Pacers.
Gilgeous-Alexander tied his career high of 45 points in their 120-114 win, with a career-high of 16 points in the fourth quarter, hitting 15 of his 22 shots.
After his 41-point night against the Washington Wizards just a few days earlier, he became the first Thunders player to achieve back-to-back 40-point games since Russell Westbrook in 2019, and Daigneault was lavish in praise of his star man.
He said: "Shai was outstanding tonight. That was a masterpiece.
"I mean, he was at his own pace the entire night. I thought he moved it out of the early helps and got his teammates activated, but great blend of passing and attacking, great blend of shooting and attacking. He just had total control of the wheel tonight."

In other contributions, Jalen Williams scored 20 points and Isaiah Hartenstein had 11 points and 13 rebounds for the Thunder.
"Everybody seemed to make a big play for us tonight that we really needed on a night where we were playing a very hot opponent," Daigneault added.
