Wests Tigers players and two staff members living in Sydney hotspots have tested negative for coronavirus ahead of Friday's clash against the Brisbane Broncos.

David Nofoaluma, Josh Aloiai and Zac Cini, plus assistant coach Brett Hodgson and video analyst Simon Dwyer, tested negative for COVID-19.

They were required to undertake tests due to living within hotspots in south west Sydney.

"Having returned negative results, both Nofoaluma and Aloiai will be free to play in tonight's round 10 clash against the Brisbane Broncos at Leichhardt Oval," the Tigers said.
