Capela told ESPN he spent his All-Star break working out in Houston.

“(My thumb) felt great,” Capela said. “I was really happy about it, so now I’m ready to go.”

Capela is averaging 17.6 points and 12.6 rebounds in 34.2 minutes per game this season. He signed a five-year, $80 million contract extension with Houston this summer.

The Rockets entered the All-Star break in fifth place of the Western Conference with a 33-24 record.
