Zii Jia set to part ways with Tat Meng
Lee Zii Jia will part ways with his coach Wong Tat Meng at the end of this year, the shuttler's team confirmed on Friday.
"Since joining in July 2023, coach Tat Meng has been instrumental in guiding Zii Jia back into the world top 10, winning titles and bringing home a bronze medal from the Paris Olympics.
"Tat Meng is now preparing Zii Jia for the World Tour Finals (WTF) and will continue to serve until his contract formally ends on December 31," Team LZJ said via a statement.

Under the former national coach, the world number eight won last year's Arctic Open, and went on to win the Thailand and Australian Open this year.
But Wong's biggest success with Lee is guiding him to a Paris Olympics bronze medal which saw him come from a game down to beat India's Lakshya Sen.
Lee's style of play also changed under the tutelage of Wong, with the shuttler not just relying on his smashes as his main weapon.
Lee began to develop different combinations to his game and as a result his netplay and rallies began to improve.
Wong's final assignment would be to try and ensure Lee goes all the way at the upcoming WTF next week.
Lee's new coach will be announced in due time.
