Zii Jia aims to come good at Swiss Open as top seed

After crashing out of the All-England Open quarter-finals in heartbreaking fashion against Lakshya Sen, Lee Zii Jia will have an immediate opportunity to make amends as the top seed at the Swiss Open this week.
Lee lost 22-20, 16-21, 19-21 against the Indian in a match where fine margins made the difference.
While the defeat hurt, the Malaysian chose to take positives ahead of the Super 300 event where he has the opportunity to hunt his first title of the season.
“There is the Swiss Open and I am the top seed. It’s going to be a tough week again. I have to refresh myself, start over again and hopefully I can bring the positives from here (All-England) to the Swiss Open,” he said.
Lee is the top seed by virtue of being the highest ranked shuttler in this Super 300 event, but by no means is the world number 10 guaranteed an easy ride.

He plays Chinese Taipei’s Su Li-yang in the first round, but could be up against K.Srikanth or Wang Tzu-wei who will be prickly opponents if he advances.
Sen will also feature in this tournament, along with Chou Tien-chen and Christo Popov who are all worthy contenders based on recent form.
Besides Lee, Leong Jun Hao is the other Malaysian who will play in the main draw against
