Leong Jun Hao breezed into the World Championships second round after demolishing his opponent, while Goh Jin Wei saw her campaign end abruptly in Paris on Tuesday.
National men’s singles shuttler Leong faced Swiss shuttler Tobias Kuenzi, with both men separated by 112 spots on the world rankings.

That gulf in class showed throughout the 31-minute contest as Leong comfortably won 21-12, 21-14.
The first game saw the Malaysian continuously trap Kuenzi at the front court with his drop-shots from the mid and back court area.
In the second game, Leong quickly raced to a 7-1 lead which saw Kuenzi flat-footed to most of his shots, which sparked the end to this one-sided affair.
Leong will go on to face Japan's Kenta Nishimoto in the next round.
Goh, ranked 51 in the world, saw her campaign end after just 33-minutes following a 14-21, 9-21 defeat against China's Gao Fang Jie.
The Malaysian professional shuttler struggled against her much taller opponent who is also much higher on the world rankings at 14.
Goh's game was also a letdown which saw her concede points through unforced errors.
National women’s singles shuttler K.Letshaana and men’s doubles pair Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun are in action in Tuesday’s later session.
