Pandelela Rinong bounced back from her disappointing preliminary round to reach the women's 10m platform final at the 2020 Olympic Games on Thursday.

The 28-year-old had barely made it through to the semi-final after finishing in the 18th and final qualifying spot yesterday.

However, the Sarawakian, who won bronze in the event at the 2012 Olympic Games and finished 11th in 2016, did not let it affect her as she finished seventh in the semi-final.

Well done to Pandelela for reaching the #Tokyo2020 women's 10m platform final! ? Watch her in action at 2pm later. ?#GanbatteMalaysia #SokongMalaysia pic.twitter.com/kaLeKQ7dXp
