Malaysia men's doubles Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin clinched their second title since being reunited as a pair after they bagged the Kaohsiung Masters title on Sunday.
Goh-Izzuddin made light work of Chinese Taipei top seeds Lee Jhe-huei-Yang Po-hsuan with the 21-14, 21-10 victory in less than 30 minutes.
The world number 29 pair proved they were a class above the rest in this Super 100 event as they won all their matches without dropping a game.
Their victories also included beating several Malaysian pairs en route to victory.
Goh-Izzuddin, who had only been reunited in June, claimed their first title of their second stint at the US Open.
This latest victory in Chinese Taipei should certainly boost their spirits especially with the Olympics qualifying season ongoing.
With seven months left to rack up points, the pair stand a chance to make the cut to Paris if they are ranked in the world top eight.
Goh-Izzuddin will next compete at the Arctic Open in Vantaa, Finland from October 10-15.
