Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai gave Malaysia a second title on the World Tour stage this year after the mixed doubles pair bagged the Swiss Open title with a 21-16, 21-13 victory over compatriots Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei.

The victory was a long time coming for the world number 14 pair, who finished runners-up in 2022 and last year.

Victory also meant Goh-Lai got a title after six long years since they won the German and Singapore Open back in 2018.

They needed only 37-minutes against Chen-Toh to secure the deserved victory thanks to a brilliant all-rounded display.

This becomes Malaysia's second title on the World Tour in a week after Choong Hon Jian-Haikal Nazri won the Orleans Masters men's doubles title last week.

Other results saw Ben Lane-Sean Vendy secure the men’s doubles title, while Indonesian pair Lanny Tria-Ribka Sugiarto took home the women’s doubles crown.

Lin Chun-yi battled in three games to beat Chinese Taipei national team-mate Chou Tien-chen for the men’s doubles title, while Carolina Marin secured the women’s singles title for her second consecutive success after winning the All-England last week.
