SEA Games: Healthy Malaysia representation into badminton quarter-finals

Nearly all of the national shuttlers competing at the ongoing SEA Games in Cambodia booked their quarter-finals berths in the individual competition on Saturday.
The men's singles saw third seeded Leong Jun Hao beat Joel Koh 23-21, 21-14 to book a meeting with Jewel Angelo, and Lee Shun Yang also won on Friday to face a Thai opponent.
The men's doubles saw Beh Chun Meng-Goh Boon Zhe and Chia Weijie-Liew Xun also ensure progression to face Thai and Singaporean opponents respectively.

Malaysia also had two representatives in the women's doubles last eight through Lee Xin Jie-Low Yeen Yuan and Cheng Su Hui-Cheng Su Yin.
Mixed doubles pairs Choong Hon Jian-Yap Ling and Yap Roy King-Cheng Su Yin are also in contention look good bets to win on Sunday.
The national team are trying to achieve the one gold medal target set before the start of the competition.
They already had a silver medal earned through the men's team on Thursday.
