Pearly Tan-M.Thinaah produced a sensational performance to secure the Japan Masters women's doubles title after a straight game success on Sunday.

The national pair beat Japanese duo Rin Iwanaga-Kie Nakanishi 22-20, 21-19 in an exciting 54-minute victory.

This is Tan-Thinaah's third silverware of the year after victories at the Thailand Open and Arctic Open.

The world number two Malaysians orchestrated their victory by overturning three game points in the opening game to win 22-20 after trailing 17-20.

That win gave them an advantage as Tan-Thinaah led a close second game before keeping their composure to seal a well deserved triumph.

This win will cement their position at the top of the World Tour Rankings and second place on the world rankings.
