Pemain badminton nombor satu dunia, Kento Momota, bersama penolong jurulatih dan ahli fisioterapi, selamat berlepas pulang ke Jepun selepas dibenarkan keluar daripada hospital malam tadi.
Momota dilaporkan mendapat pelepasan keluar daripada Hospital Putrajaya kira-kira jam 1 pagi tadi dan dibawa menginap di Hotel Sama-Sama, Sepang.
Dia seterusnya bersama penolong jurulatih, Yu Hirayama, dan ahli fisioterapi, Morimoto Arkifumi, tiba di Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa (KLIA) sambil diiringi Presiden Persatuan Badminton Malaysia (BAM), Datuk Seri Norza Zakaria.
Momota menunjukkan petanda positif selepas 48 jam dimasukkan dalam wad sementara tangan kanan Hirayama pula memakai balutan manakala Arkifumi masih berjalan terhincut-hincut.
Mereka bertiga berlepas ke Narita, Jepun, dengan menaiki pesawat Malaysia Airlines MH07 pada jam 9.40 pagi tadi.
"Semalam, selepas mendapat pelepasan daripada hospital dan bercakap dengan ketua pengarah Hospital Putrajaya, pesakit-pesakit diberi kebenaran untuk keluar pada jam 10 malam.
"Kami mengambil keputusan untuk menempatkan mereka di hotel berdekatan KLIA.
"Pagi ini, mereka berlepas ke Jepun dengan Malaysia Airlines," kata Norza.
