Malaysia Super 100: Two Malaysian pairs secure silverware

Two Malaysian pairs, Teoh Mei Xing-Go Pei Kee and Low Hang Yee-Ng Eng Cheong secured the women's and men's doubles titles at the Malaysia Super 100 final on Sunday.
First up, it was Teoh-Go who won their first title as a pair after the Malaysians brushed aside Chinese Taipei duo Nicole Gonzales-Yang Chu-yun 22-20, 21-11.
It proved it to be a huge victory for Teoh-Go, who needed only 42-minutes to stun the tournament's top seeds.
Teoh-Go came into this final knowing that Gonzales had exterted a lot of energy in the mixed doubles final, which she and partner Ye Hong-wei won in three games.

The Malaysians tried to channel their attacks towards Gonzales, but Yang did well to absorb the pressure for her partner and push the first game into deuce.
But Teoh-Go, who held a 20-15 game point advantage at one stage, finally secured the deserved lead after dominating throughout.
Perhaps exhausted, their opponents did not offer much resistance in the second game leaving the world number 112 Malaysians to claim their maiden career title together.
Low-Ng swiftly followed up with the men's doubles title after they came from a game down to beat American pair Chen Zhi Yi-Presley Smith 19-21, 21-15, 21-12.
Low-Ng lost out a closely contested opening game, but improved in the second game which saw them level the scores to take it to a decider.
The world number 52 pair took control of the final game to win decisively and be crowned champions.
Victory was a memorable one for Low-Ng, who went one step further than last year where they finished as runners-up.
