Malaysia International Challenge: Three titles in bag for Malaysia with Letshaana aiming for fourth
K. Letshaana kept the Malaysian flag alive in the women’s singles as the shuttler battled back from a game down to beat Tidapron Kleebyeesun 16-21, 21-17, 21-15 and reach the 2022 Malaysia International Challenge (MIC) final.
Letshaana’s hard earned victory over the Thai qualifier provided the national contingent in the women’s singles category some respite, after the rest of the field failed to even reach the last eight.
The Malaysia Games runner-up contests the final against Indonesia’s Yulia Yosephine Susanto on Sunday.

Sze Fei is teaming up with Goh Boon Zhe, while Izzuddin is linked up with Muhammad Haikal.
The only event without Malaysians is the women’s doubles final, which sees top seeded Singaporeans Yujia Jin-Crystal Wong take on Thai pair Ornnicha Jongsathapornparn-Atitaya Povanon.
