Malaysian young shuttlers dominated the Hellas International in Greece by bagging four titles through the mixed doubles, men’s singles, men’s doubles and women’s doubles on Sunday.

Their success came on the back of three titles won at the Latvia International last week.

Yap Roy King-Valeree Siow gave Malaysia the first success in the mixed double final after they beat Norwegian pair Carl Christian Mork-Solvar Flaten Joergensen 21-13, 21-17 in 30-minutes.

It was the pair’s second senior title after winning in Latvia last week.

Lee Shun Yang swiftly added a second title in the men’s singles after he overcame Czech Republic’s fifth seed Jan Lauda 21-14, 24-22 in 45 minutes.

Junaidi Arif-Muhammad Arif then captured the men’s doubles with a 21-16, 21-15 victory over Czech pair Ondrej Kral-Adam Mendrek in 40 minutes.

It was the young guns second title this year, having also won the Austrian Open in June.

Low Yeen Yuan then teamed up with Siow to win the women’s doubles after the duo overcame second seeds Katharina Fink-Yasmine Hamza 21-15, 21-16 for their third title this year, after successes in Latvia and Slovenia.

In winning most of the events, the national back-up shuttlers continued their outstanding form in the lower ranked events on the World Tour this year.

In March, they bagged three titles at the Polish Open, before winning two at the Slovenia International in May.

At the Austrian Open and Spanish International in May and June respectively, they won five titles in total.
