Korea Open: All Malaysian mixed doubles quarter-finals clash on Friday
Malaysia will have plenty of interest at the Korea Open quarter-finals on Friday after national pairs Chen Tang Jie-Toh Wei and Pearly Tan-M.Thinaah cleared their second round test, along with Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai.
As it turns out, Chen-Toh and Goh-Lai will face off in the mixed doubles last eight on Friday, which also means Malaysia are guaranteed a spot in the semi-finals.
Both pairs will approach their quarter-finals test in confident mode after they overcame their respective Chinese Taipei opponents in straight games on Thursday.

But Goh-Lai will certainly fancy their chances having beaten Chen-Toh twice this year at the Swiss Open final and Malaysia Masters semis.
Tan-Thinaah, meanwhile, came through after beating Chinese Taipei's Nicole Gonzales-Lin Chih-chun 21-23, 21-12, 21-12.
They will go on to face either another pair from Chinese Taipei or China on Friday.
National mixed doubles pair Choong Hon Jian-Haikal Nazri did well to the push the home combination of Choi Sol-gyu-Heo Kwang-hee, but lost 18-21, 21-12, 17-21.
Tan Kian Meng-Lai Pei Jing, Goh V Shem-Boon Xin Yuan and Wong Tien Ci-Lim Chiew Sien were among the other pairs to have crashed out.
