Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik are just one step away from the Korea Masters title after the national top men's pair beat their opponents in straight games to reach the final on Saturday.

Chia-Soh, who are top seeds in this Super 300 event, beat Chinese Taipei's Wang Chi-lin-Chiu Hsiang Chieh 21-17, 21-16 in 36-minutes to reach their second World Tour final of the year.

They will need to overcome South Korean pair Jin Yong-Kim Won-ho to secure their first title in 2024.
The way they are playing, Chia-Soh should be favourites to beat the home pair in Sunday's final.

Against the scratch pairing of Wang-Chiu, the top seeds looked comfortable throughout the contest to claim victory.

The national pair were of course facing two-time Olympic champion Wang, who has recently partnered Chiu after his previous partner Lee Yang retired after winning the Paris Olympics.

The Chinese Taipei pair gave a good account of themselves in both games, but ultimately the class and experience of the Malaysians shone at the end of both games.

The world number six pair found the extra gear to win the opening game as both sides were locked at 17-17, and maintained the same gameplay to secure the second game as well.

Chia trapped both Wang-Chiu several times at the front court with his sublime dropshots from the baseline, while Soh were clinical with his shots when needed.

The Paris Olympics bronze medalists last reached the All-England final back in March, and will be aiming to go one better when they square off against Jin-Kim on Sunday.
