Justin Hoh captured his second title of the year after the young national men’s singles shuttler bagged the Saipan International crown courtesy of a straight game victory in the final on Saturday.

Hoh, seeded fifth in this tournament, needed only 41-minutes to overcome Japanese Ryoma Muramoto 21-16, 21-18 to clinch the title at the Northern Mariana Islands.

It capped a wonderful week for the 20-year-old, who also reached the final of the Northern Marianas Open last week.

Even more impressive is the fact that Hoh had won all his matches without dropping a game en route to winning this title.

Hoh’s first title came at the Slovenia Open when he defeated his Indonesian opponent in three hard fought games to win that final in May.

Fans who congratulated the shuttler’s achievement on social media expressed their wishes to see Hoh compete at higher level tournaments next.

Hoh had been plagued with injuries before this, but has shown consistent progress this year since returning to full fitness.
