Malaysian badminton made history on Tuesday after three national men's doubles pairs are now ranked top five in the world.
Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik remain in second spot, while Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin dropped one rung to fourth.
But Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun ensured the great news from Malaysian badminton after the pair jumped three rungs to fifth on the world rankings.
Man-Tee's jump comes despite early exits in their last two tournaments which saw them crash out of the Hong Kong Open and China Masters second round.
The pair have now also reached the French Open second round after a straight game win in their opening match.
Meanwhile, national women's doubles pair Pearly Tan-M.Thinaah retained second spot in the world rankings, while national mixed doubles pair Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei made it to the top three after they reached the Denmark Open semis last week.
Pro pair Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai meanwhile maintained their spot in the top 10 rankings by sitting comfortably in ninth.
