National pair Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik credited their composure and sticking to the gameplan after the Malaysians reached their 10th semi-final of the year with a hard-fought win at the French Open.
Chia-Soh battled for 64-minutes before they edged a thrilling contest against Indonesians Sabar Karyaman-Moh Reza 21-19, 16-21, 21-19.

“It was important we stuck to our strategy during the crucial moments, regardless if we led or not. When the score reaches 16 or 17, we need to be able to play the shots that we want. Physically we are not 100 percent, but we are mentally prepared for this European tour,” they said.
The world number two pair are the only Malaysians left in this Super 750 event as the rest of the pairs lost in the wee hours of Saturday morning.
Chia-Soh will next face another Indonesian pair Fajar Alfian-Shohibul Fikri as they bid to reach a second World Tour final in two weeks.
The pairs who lost in the quarter-finals includes Pearly Tan-M.Thinaah, Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei, Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai, Yap Roy King-Junaidi Arif, Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun and Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin.
