Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei's run at the Denmark Open came to an end after they lost in three games against the world number one pair on Saturday.
The world champions fell 17-21, 21-18, 18-21 against Chinese pair Jiang Zhen Bang-Wei Ya Xin in a 65-minute duel in Odense.
Jiang-Wei also avenged their defeat to Chen-Toh at the World Championships final in August with this win.
The world number one pair have been in top form since they lost in the World Champs, and have now qualified for their third consecutive final in a month.
Chen-Toh couldn't keep up to the pace of their opponents to concede the first game, but returned strongly to win the second game thanks to their flick serve which caused Wei plenty of problems.
In the decider, Chen-Toh led in the opening stages before the Chinese pair found a strong rhythm to overtake them thanks to Jiang's powerful smashes.
Nonetheless, it has been a good outing for Chen-Toh in their first European outing.
The China Masters finalists will next compete in next week's French Open final.
