Goh Jin Wei offered a faint hope by beating world no.8 He Bingjia 21-9, 17-21, 21-13, but Huang Dongping and Yu Zheng sealed Malaysia's fate by defeating Vivian Hoo and Chow Mei Kuan 21-19, 21-15.
In the final game, Lee Ying Ying fell to a 16-21, 15-21 loss to Gao Fangjie.
With the defeat, Malaysia succumbed to their third consecutive Uber Cup group stage exit since 2014, leaving only pride to play for in their final group match against France on Wednesday.
As for the men's squad, despite Lee Chong Wei, Goh V Shem and Tan Wee Kiong sitting out, they had no problem disposing of Algeria to secure their second 5-0 straight win.
Asian junior champion Lee Jun Hao made his Thomas Cup bow with a 21-13, 21-8 win over Adel Hamek, while scratch pairs of Arif Abdul Latif-Teo Ee Yi and Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik were also given run-outs.
Malaysia will next face defending champions Denmark, who beat Russia 5-0 earlier in the day, on Wednesday to determine the Group D winners.
