The Badminton World Federation (BWF) revealed hosts for upcoming major badminton events from 2019 to 2025 on Thursday.
China lead the way with four events – 2024 Thomas and Uber Cup, 2021 and 2025 Sudirman Cup, and 2021 World Junior Championships.
The announcement on successful bidding countries was announced by BWF president Poul-Erik Hoyer Larsen in Kuala Lumpur.
Larsen revealed that the decision to award 18 hosts in one bid process was in line with the BWFss vision to establish long-term targets to broaden its development initiatives and create a strategic position for the sport around new projects and partnerships.
"We were lucky to receive some outstanding bids, all with the same forward-thinking vision as us.
"Following an exhaustive assessment period, we were able to determine the host cities and countries that best represented the interests of the sport," added the 1996 Summer Olympics men's singles gold medalist.
