Biarpun tidak diberikan harapan untuk meraih pingat dan hanya terpilih untuk menggantikan Goh Jin Wei yang mengalami masalah kesihatan, dia memaparkan aksi terpuji untuk menewaskan perseorangan muda Indonesia, Ruselli Hartawan.
Kisona, 21, bermula perlahan dan kerap melepaskan mata-mata mudah untuk tewas set pertama 20-22.
Bagaimanapun, dia memperkemaskan aksinya untuk mendominasi set kedua sebelum menang 21-14.
Dalam set penentuan, Kisona jelas tidak dapat ditandingi Ruselli, yang jelas sudah terlalu penat, untuk mengesahkan pingat emas dengan kemenangan 21-13.
"Saya tidak sangka dengan kejayaan ini.
"Saya telah berusaha sehabis mungkin dan tidak berputus asa sepanjang perlawanan.
Apa-apa sahaja boleh berlaku dan perkara paling penting adalah saya tidak berputus asa," katanya.
