Arctic Open: Zii Jia beats Tze Yong to claim first title in 17 months
Lee Zii Jia sauntered to his first title in 17 months after he demolished Ng Tze Yong 21-14, 21-15 in the Arctic Open all Malaysian men's singles final on Sunday.
It was a one-sided contest as Ng struggled to cope with his national team-mate's sheer power throughout the final, and failed to replicate the great work he had produced to reach this final.
Lee was in a class of his own in the 40-minute final, which he dominated thanks to his deadly smashing.

This Super 500 victory was his first since he claimed the Thailand Open title in May last year.
Despite the loss, Ng should be proud of himself for reaching his first World Tour title of this level.
Men's doubles pair Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun couldn't make it a double success for Malaysia after they lost 18-21, 17-21 to Danish pair Kim Astrup-Anders Rasmussen.
