Pearly Tan-M.Thinaah secured their second title of 2025 after winning the Arctic Open women's doubles title on Sunday.

In truth, this contest turned out to be  one-way traffic for Tan-Thinaah who simply cruised to victory after beating Japan's Rin Iwanaga- Kie Nakanishi 21-7, 21-9 in 32-minutes.

Tan-Thinaah have also proven they are one of the most consistent pairs in the world, reaching six finals this year.

This Super 500 win is their second silverware of the year, and the national pair will treasure it knowing it could well be their easiest career final win.

The Malaysians were a class above their counterpart throughout the match as they dominated proceedings from the first serve.

The Malaysians were aggressive and their constant pressure could not be matched by Iwanaga-Nakanishi, who were a bundle of nerves from the first game.

Tan-Thinaah wrapped up the opening game comfortably, winning the final point in style thanks to Tan's lovely disguised dropshot.

The Malaysians continued in the same momentum in the second game as their attacking high tempo continued to produce points.

They lead 11-3 at the interval, and eventually strolled to the one-sided victory.

This win will further boost their spirits to continue shining at the Denmark Open which begins on Tuesday.
