Danish star Anders Antonsen who is currently in the form of his life has arrived in Kuala Lumpur for a short training stint, where he was also taken for a sumptuous wagyu dinner with Lee Zii Jia and his team.

Antonsen, who has three titles to his name this year which includes the season opening Malaysia Open, arrived in KL earlier in the week.

“Fantastic to be back in KL, I flew in from Chengdu at the Thomas Cup. I will practice here for one week. It is a familiar place to me, I have been here multiple times for practice in December and January, where I also won the Malaysia Open.

“It is a place I like a lot. I am looking to try some local food as well!,” said Antonsen, who also announced he will conduct a meet-and-greet session for fans in Pavilion KL on Saturday.

The world number four later went on to post a picture on his Instagram page of him having a grand wagyu dinner with Lee and his team on Wednesday.

Delicious food aside, Antonsen will be looking to use the training facilities at the Academy Badminton Malaysia to ramp up his preparations for the upcoming Thailand Open in Bangkok which begins next week.
