Tony Romo retired from the NFL this year for an opportunity to start a career in the broadcast booth.
Before he begins calling NFL games for CBS, the former Cowboys quarterback will debut on the network's broadcast of the Dean & DeLuca Invitational at Colonial Golf Club, a PGA Tour event in Fort Worth, Texas.

"I think he is going to be great. I think we have the next John Madden on our hands," CBS sports producer Lance Barrow said of Romo, via GolfChannel.com.
Romo is no stranger to golf. The Pro Bowl quarterback is also a scratch golfer who has attempted to qualify for the U.S. Open on multiple occasions, including this year.
Romo will be seated alongside Jim Nantz and Nick Faldo as a commentator on the 18th green for the tournament.
