'Tantalising' Fox produces stunning Spurs debut in dramatic win

De'Aaron Fox enjoyed a historic San Antonio Spurs debut as he led his side to a 126-125 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday.
Fox produced an assist with 2.9 seconds on the clock to win the game for his team, capping his all-round display.
The 27-year-old scored 24 points while adding 13 assists, five rebounds and three steals, the first time in franchise history that a player has tallied 20 points and 10 assists in his Spurs debut.

Fox arrived from the Sacramento Kings in a three-team trade on Sunday and looks to have settled straight into his new team.
Fox said: "I've told those guys, regardless of how well I'm playing in a game, I draw attention.
"That's what happened. They put two on me, whether it's a miscommunication or what they wanted to do."
Spurs coach Mitch Johnson was suitably impressed as Fox scored or assisted on 56 of their 126 points.
Johnson said: "Selfishly, as a coach, I think that's probably about as complete of a game you'd hope for the first game.
"You saw the potential. It's tantalising. He's dynamic. He's going to unlock a whole different element for our team."

Fox also finished with three steals as he helped the Spurs to their 22nd victory of the season, and team-mate Chris Paul has been amazed by the speed at which their new addition plays the game.
Paul said: "I sort of had an idea of what it would look like. But I mean the pace he plays with, the space that we have out there on the court.
"We haven't even had a practice with him, other than shootaround. So we want to learn and figure it out as we go."
