SEA Games: First gold goes to hosts Philippines

The Philippines kicked off the 2019 SEA Games on a high note as men's triathlete John Chicano secured the first gold of the biennial meet at the Subic Bay on Sunday.

His compatriot Andrew Remolino came second to make it a one-two finish for the host nation.
Malaysians Aldrian Yeo and Lee Jun finished outside the podium as Indonesia's Firman Ahlul took the bronze medal.
