Roosters-bound Hall suffers ACL injury

Sydney Roosters-bound Ryan Hall sustained anterior cruciate ligament damage against Toulouse and will not feature again for Leeds Rhinos.

The Rhinos triumphed 48-22 in Saturday's Qualifiers match, but celebrations were muted after Hall was forced off having twisted his knee.

And on Monday the Super League side confirmed Hall would miss the remainder of the season, with the injury potentially delaying his start to next season's NRL campaign.

"This is desperately disappointing news for Ryan first and foremost," director of rugby Kevin Sinfield told the club website.

"He has been a big player for the squad this season and I know how much he wanted to help the side during our Qualifiers campaign to make sure he finished his time at the club on the best possible note.

"Our medical team will be in touch with the Roosters to ensure Ryan has the best possible support to get back to playing as soon as possible."

Hall made his debut for the Rhinos in 2007 and has scored 231 tries in 327 appearances for the club.
