Thursday's matchup between the Panthers and Bruins at TD Garden has been postponed due to the winter storm hitting the East Coast, the NHL announced.

The date and time of the rescheduled game is expected to be announced at a later time.

Both teams had already canceled their morning skates but scheduled player and coach availability beginning at 4:30 p.m. ET.

The Bruins have not postponed a game due to weather since Feb. 9, 2013, when a meeting with the Lightning was pushed back.
