In his second season as the Pacers coach, McMillan, 53, led the team to a 48-34 mark and a surprise appearance in the playoffs after trading star Paul George last offseason. Indiana lost in seven games to the Cavaliers.
Before McMillan's tenure as with the Pacers, he was an associate head coach with Indiana for three seasons. He also coached with Portland and Seattle during his 14-year coaching career in the league.
