Only one way to find out – Simmons asked if he can coexist with LeBron

Can Ben Simmons and Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James play together? There is only one way to find out, according to the Philadelphia 76ers sensation.

James is preparing for his eighth successive NBA Finals appearance and fourth in a row with the Cavaliers but there is uncertainty over his future in Cleveland.

The 33-year-old and three-time NBA champion could leave Quicken Loans Arena as a free agent in the offseason.

Philadelphia have emerged as a possible destination and when asked if he could coexist with James, Simmons told TMZ: "There's only one way to find out."

"If he comes, I'll play with him," Simmons added. "He is a great player, of course."

James and the Cavaliers will go head-to-head with reigning champions the Golden State Warriors in the Finals for the fourth consecutive season.

In the playoffs this season, James is averaging 34 points, 9.2 rebounds, 8.8 assists and 1.4 steals.

Rookie of the Year contender Simmons averaged 16.3 points, 9.4 rebounds and 7.7 steals as the 76ers reached the Eastern Conference semi-finals.
