NBA trade rumors: Thunder, Rockets interested in Cavaliers guard Alec Burks
The Cavaliers could have multiple options if they decide to move Alec Burks.
The Thunder and Rockets are both interested in dealing for the 27-year-old guard, according to reports from The Athletic and The Ringer, both of which cite unidentified league sources.
Houston has discussed a trade that would send guard Brandon Knight and a first-round pick to Cleveland in exchange for Burks, The Athletic’s report says. Meanwhile, the Thunder hold a $10.9 million trade exception.

Burks was sent from the Jazz to the Cavaliers as part of the Kyle Korver trade in late November. He has averaged 11.6 points and 5.5 rebounds while shooting 37.8 percent from 3-point range in 34 games with Cleveland.
The Cavaliers have been one of the worst teams in the NBA this season and will enter their game against the Wizards on Friday with a 11-43 record.
Cleveland traded Rodney Hood to the Blazers earlier this week. It received a package centered around two second-round picks in the deal.
