NBA trade rumors: Multiple teams have inquired about Bulls F Jabari Parker
Multiple teams have inquired about Jabari Parker.
The Bulls have received “a handful of calls” about Parker over the last week, according to a report from the Chicago Sun-Times, which cites an unidentified league source. The team reportedly has been looking to move Parker before the Feb. 7 trade deadline.
Parker would be a buy out candidate if the Bulls cannot find a deal for him.
Parker has been in and out of the Bulls’ rotation recently. He has averaged 14.3 points and 6.2 rebounds per game while shooting 32.5 percent from 3-point range in 39 appearances.
The fifth-year veteran signed a one-year, $20 million deal with the Bulls this summer. The contract included a $20 million team option for 2019-20.
Chicago reportedly has discussed sending Parker to the Lakers in exchange for guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
The Bulls have been one of the worst teams in the NBA in 2018-19 and enter their game Wednesday against the Pelicans with a 12-41 record.
