NBA trade deadline: Bucks acquire Nikola Mirotic from Pelicans

The Bucks have added another big man who can stretch the floor.
Milwaukee has acquired forward Nikola Mirotic from the Pelicans, according to ESPN.

The Pelicans will receive Stanley Johnson and Jason Smith in return. The trade will also include four second-round picks, according to the New York Times. There will be one in 2019, two in 2020 and another in 2021.

Mirotic is averaging 16.7 points and 8.3 rebounds for the Pelicans this season while shooting 44.7 percent from the floor and 36.8 percent from 3-point range.He is one of just four players in the NBA this season to be averaging at least 15 points and eight rebounds in less than 30 minutes per game, according to Opta.
