NBA free agency rumors: Contract talks have stalled between Rodney Hood, Cavaliers
Rodney Hood does not appear close to signing a new contract.
The 25-year-old guard is seeking a fair, short-term deal from the Cavaliers, according to a report from Yahoo Sports. But, Hood feels Cleveland has yet to make him an acceptable offer and negotiations between the two sides have stalled, the report says.
Hood is a restricted free agent and the Cavaliers can match any contract he signs with another team. The Kings and Bulls have both previously expressed interest in him, according to an earlier report from Yahoo Sports.

Hood began last season with the Jazz, where he averaged 16.8 points in 39 games, before he was traded to the Cavaliers in early February.
Hood tallied 10.8 points per game in 21 regular season appearances with Cleveland. But, he struggled to stay in the Cavaliers rotation in the playoffs. He finished the postseason averaging 5.4 points in 17 games.
Hood has knocked down 36.9 percent of his 3-pointers during his four-year NBA career.
