The Grizzlies selected Michigan State power forward Jaren Jackson Jr. with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.

Jackson, a former McDonald's All-American, is a 6-11 power forward with 3-point range. He averaged 10.9 points and 5.8 rebounds per game last season with Michigan State.

Though still raw, Jackson has the size and ability to develop into an elite NBA player at both ends of the court.

Jackson was initially hesitant to work out with the Grizzlies sighting concerns over the direction of the franchise, but according to ESPN, Jackson bought into Memphis.

With the ability to guard all five positions, Jackson should quickly become a starter.
