Monaco stay perfect in Basketball Champions League
Monaco maintained their 100 per cent to the start to the Basketball Champions League with a comfortable 81-63 victory at Dinamo Sassari on Tuesday.
Last year's third-placed side retain their place at the top of Group A with a fourth successive win, Christopher Evans contributing team-high 18 points and Elmedin Kikanovic contributing 14 as part of a double-double with 10 rebounds.
Enisey Krasnoyarsk remain two points behind Monaco after outscoring Juventus Utena by 18 points in the final quarter to earn an 85-81 victory.
Juventus led by 21 with six minutes and 30 seconds to play but Enisey raced from behind to win, Anthony Hilliard's three-pointer with eight seconds remaining proving crucial.
Pinar Karsiyaka made it back-to-back victories by downing Hapoel Holon 98-91, while Elan Chalon moved top of Group B by downing PAOL 75-61.
DJ Strawberry put up 18 points, seven rebounds and four assists in Besiktas Sompo Japan's 70-64 victory over CEZ Nymburk, moving ahead of Aris in Group D after the Greek side went down 75-69 to Telekom Baskets Bonn for the German side's first win of the competition.
Elsewhere, Stelmet Zielona Gora beat Sidigas Avellino 90-79, while Petrol Olimpija got off the mark by defeating Group C rivals Movistar Estudiantes 81-75 for their first triumph in the competition.
