Marquette guard Markus Howard torched the nets Wednesday for 52 points in a 95-90 overtime win over Providence.

Howard is not stranger to lighting it up from deep. The sophomore entered the game averaging over 20 points per game this season, and he shot 55 percent from beyond the arc last season as a freshman.

Marquette (11-4) has now won six of its last seven games after starting the season with three early losses.
