The Malaysia men's cricket team organised a rally at the Perdana Putra, Putrajaya, in an attempt to save the Kinrara Oval on Wednesday.
National player Pavandeep Singh tweeted pictures of the team in front of the complex as they tried to secure a meeting with Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
It took place just a day after Malaysia beat Myanmar, in which the 20-year-old played a starring role, in an ICC World Twenty20 Asian Qualifier round at the Bayuemas Oval in Klang.
As reported earlier, the Malaysian Cricket Association (MCA) had been ordered to vacate the Kinrara Oval to make way for redevelopment of the premise by the end of the month.

Rest day today and we, the men’s national cricket team are patiently waiting outside the PM’s office. Just 12.5 minutes of YAB Tun’s time will be much appreciated. @chedetofficial @SyedSaddiq @MalaysiaCricket
