Steve Kerr was less than thrilled with the Golden State Warriors' first-quarter effort against the Houston Rockets which saw them trail 24-19 after the first 12 minutes.

Golden State shot seven of 20 from the floor and two of 10 from three-point range in the first quarter of game seven of the Western Conference finals.

"I saw one of the worst quarters of basketball we've ever played," Kerr told TNT after the first frame.

The 19 points scored was better than game five in which they scored just 17 first-quarter points, but it was just the second time this postseason the Warriors have scored less than 20 points in the first frame.

It was not the best of starts, but Kerr was not going to let that get him down.

"We're down five points," Kerr said. "So if we can get our act together we'll be fine."
