India and New Zealand's Cricket World Cup match was abandoned without a ball being bowled on Thursday as the weather caused further disruption.

Rain throughout the day at Trent Bridge forced the umpires to make the decision to call play off at 15:00 BST.

It is the fourth abandonment at this year's tournament, and the third in four days.

New Zealand are outright leaders on seven points after moving one clear of Australia, while India move third above England, with five points from three matches.
