Mack Hansen will miss Ireland's Six Nations clash with Scotland on Sunday after suffering a hamstring injury.

The wing, who missed the entire 2024 Six Nations with a shoulder problem, has endured another setback on the eve of the showdown at Murrayfield.

Hansen had been passed fit earlier this week after cutting his knee during the 27-22 win over England in Ireland's opener.

However, the 26-year-old is now unavailable due to "hamstring tightness", and joins the likes of Tadhg Furlong and Joe McCarthy in the treatment room.

The Connacht back, who has been replaced by Munster's Calvin Nash on the right wing, will hope to be fit for his nation's match against Wales on February 22.

Nash started all five of Ireland's Six Nations matches last year, scoring tries against France and Italy.
